AUD figures are USD prices converted at the approximate AUD/USD exchange rate on each date — treat as rough, illustrative estimates rather than precise historical quotes. Not financial advice.
All 100 billion XRP were created at once at the ledger's 2012 genesis — XRP is not mined, so there is no halving and no "years left to mine". The closest analogue is Ripple's monthly escrow release schedule.

Unlike Bitcoin's halving, escrow releases are set by Ripple's own contracts (not a hard protocol rule), and typically 60–80% of each monthly 1B XRP release is re-locked. At the current pace, the escrow is projected to be exhausted sometime in the early 2030s — a much softer estimate than Bitcoin's 2140 figure. AUD prices above are rough estimates from USD conversion at the time. Not financial advice.

Bitcoin halving dates and reward changes are exact (28 Nov 2012, 9 Jul 2016, 11 May 2020, 20 Apr 2024). The AUD prices are estimates — I converted the well-documented USD prices at each halving using the approximate AUD/USD rate at the time, so treat them as indicative, not precise historical quotes.
XRP has no halving — all 100 billion were created in one shot at the 2012 genesis, so I swapped in Ripple's escrow-release schedule as the closest equivalent "supply event" timeline, with the SEC lawsuit and its 2023 partial resolution as the price-relevant waypoints instead. The projected "escrow exhausted early 2030s" milestone is much softer than Bitcoin's 2140 figure since Ripple controls re-locking at its own discretion.
Halving/waypoint years are highlighted in amber on both charts, and hovering a bar shows a "Halving year" / "Escrow waypoint" tag in the tooltip.
